Kiki's Delivery Service
Made for a lab project in GEOG572, this Mapbox style is called Kiki's Delivery Service as it is based on the 1989 Studio Ghibli film of the same name.
I drew inspiration from the colors and textures of the water, land, and other features from the film.
In the map, black cats, meant to emulate Kiki's cat, represent cities.
Other icons represent different places as well. Seagulls represent beaches, bread loaves represent cafes and bakeries, and red bows represent shops.
The map shows different amounts of detail at different zoom levels.
Take a look at a few different geographies, starting with Chicago, Illinois.
London, England
Ottawa, Canada.
Seoul, South Korea.
